I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars because their Panang Curry is hands down the best I've ever had! I order Panang Curry all the time and have pretty high standards, but this one truly stood out. I love spicy food and typically order my food Thai Spicy. I ordered a 7 out of 10 this time because I was sharing with a friend. It was perfectly spicy -- a 10 would have been insanely hot, but the 7 had a great kick to it. I had it with chicken, and it was delicious! The chicken wings were also on point -- crispy and tasty, and the dipping sauce they came with was fantastic. However, I wouldn't recommend the Pad Thai. The sauce and flavors didn't quite come together for me. I ordered through Uber Eats, and I was impressed that the food arrived so hot -- definitely appreciated that! I'll be back soon for that incredible Panang Curry.

As a 'first timer' the menu is difficult to understand because you are looking for the traditional favorites - they are there - you just gotta study the menu. I went with the Ka Prao - it was tasty! But I wish it had more basil. They also have a lunch special - but I didn't notice that until after I ordered - there's a lot of menu on each wall. I think this is where you get the classic 'take out' - the inside dining area is 2-3 tables, and there is plenty of seating outside. They do not do table service - but they are super fast with the cooking. I think I waited only 10 minutes! I think I'll try their noodles next...

Always stoked to try a yummy new-to-me Thai restaurant! We were pleasantly surprised to find their lunch special, which is your choice of entree + $2 to add a drink and a side (spring rolls, fried egg, or salad!) What a deal! For those you who are well-versed in the wide range of Thai spiciness, this place doesn't mess around! I got an 8/10 spice level, and it had my nose running, in the best way! Dad got his fried rice at a 10/10 level, and just LOOK at those chili chunks! Super yummy, quick service, convenient location. Highly recommend!

Ka Prao is honestly the perfect lunch takeout place. Their setup on the inside is generally made so you walk in, place an order, sit down for a little bit while they prepare it, grab and go! Folks who work here are generally kind and their turnaround is fast. My coworkers and I all ordered the lunch combos, where you get the entree (I got the Yum Salad), a drink (thai coffee but lowkey not nearly as good as their thai tea, definitely would not get the coffee again), and a choice between two eggrolls and something else that i forgot. This salad was so bomb that I completely forgave the part where my drink was mid and just consumed the entire thing. It was the perfect blend of colors, flavors, protein, and size. I would come back just to get this again!

Was in the area to shop for clothes and decided to grab lunch. This place is located in the same center as The Mission Valley Breakfast Company, Epic Wings, Ox Coffee, and Living Spaces. Either my tolerance for spicy food went up over the few days prior or their level 4 spice really is that subtle. Seemed to be level 1 or 2 range out of 10. Food was good and was service was good. I saw what appeared to be a young grade school child helping one of the staff serve food to customers, so this is definitely a family business (reminds me of childhood). I saw a lot of people sitting outside, enjoying the weather, but they do have a few seats inside as well.

I was in the Mission Valley area for a convention and wanted to explore lunch options within walking distance. I opted for a familiar favorite: drunken noodle with tofu. It did not disappoint as it had the veggies and spiciness I was craving. During the lunch rush, it was busy so I took my order to-go. I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. My food was ready in a little over 10 minutes. The space is small and modern and the order counter features several large menus which include all options available and photos.

MANGO STICKY RICE! They had my favorite thing ever lol The truth is: I saw the mango sticky rice on the menu and said "let's order from there!" My partner agreed, because he knows how much I love mango sticky rice. We ordered on Door dash for delivery. Our food came relatively fast. They delivered to our hotel that we were staying in, since we were out of town. Food was super fresh and hot. I ordered the MOCK meat Mango Garlic Stir Fried. 10/10 for this entree! It is mock meat, so veggie friendly, and it tasted so good! Super filling also. We did egg rolls too. My partner ordered the curry vegetable entree with a Thai iced tea. The curry was very spicy for him. Be careful on which heat level you pick! And of course, I ordered my mango sticky rice. My favorite! IT was fresh and really good here! The mango was perfectly ripe, and the rice was warm. Topped with that coconut cream and it was pure heavenly! 10/10
